Emergency & Disaster Plan
Whole-of-business plan covering preparation, response, continuity of supports and recovery — across fire, flood, cyclone, bushfire, heat, pandemic, security and infrastructure failure.
The whole-of-business plan that sets the framework for how you prepare, respond, continue supports, and recover. Doesn't replace per-home evacuation plans — sets the framework they fit into.
Thirteen sections covering: governance; hazards we plan for; prepare; respond (detailed roles in the first hour); continuity of critical supports; communicate; recover; per-setting evacuation plan tracking; testing and review; roles and responsibilities; related documents; version control.
Designed to be developed WITH participants and their support networks — the Practice Standards specifically require this. Test annually minimum.
